School of Ministry
There is nothing in GodSong’s DNA or the call of God over this church that allows us to shrink back from the revolutionary standards of excellence and greatness that we are destined for. 2012 marks the third year of School of Ministry. We have 53 students to date go through courses like; “Culture of the Kingdom”, “The Covenants of God”, “How to study your Bible”, “Dreaming with God”, “Worship”. We are more certain than ever before that School of Ministry is a tool for all of us to grow in wisdom and understanding.
This spring we will launch another term of SOM. “Dreaming with God II”, “The Art of Listening”, and “Loving Your Kids On Purpose” are the courses we will offer. This spring we have a special emphasis on families.
GodSong’s School of Ministry will be one of the most evolutionary ministries in GodSong over the next few years. These workshops will be taught by leaders from within GodSong and within our community. two-fold purpose: to equip and empower local believers in the short-term and to be the foundation for a curriculum of the School of Ministry.
2012 marks the launching of GodSong Missions, and we know that School of Ministry will eventually be taken to the mission field. We see our courses being recorded and then reproduced for schools in other countries to use and replicate. Our teachers will also be sent out to the nations to train and equip pastors and leaders to start town Schools of Ministry.
In addition, we envision the School equipping and releasing people into all realms of influence that God would have for them. We desire to be a world-class school of ministry; we will develop world-class leaders. Participants in the School of Ministry will be equipped to change nations. They will be to live out the supernatural presence and power of Jesus Christ in any of influence. Our School of Ministry will be one of our primary methods of equipping the saints to make disciples of all nations.
After our “Dreaming With God” course last fall, it has been exciting to see our students put feet to their dreams. As you heard tonight, this class gave folks permission to dream again. As they began to dream, they began to take steps towards those impossible dreams. With every step, God met them at just the right time. In the year 2012 we will see the fruits of those who are faithful to pursue the God-dream in all of us! These courses give practical application to Biblical principles that all of us can use in our daily lives.
We sincerely hope you will take a moment to consider being a School of Ministry student. You will gain so much more than you give. Join us this spring!
