Circle of Leadership and Accountability
Look at GodSong as a circle of believers. We are connecting and building relationships with each other and our community as we Love, Serve and Worship. Surrounding us are four leadership teams that provide support, counsel, direction, and resources. Each team is moving in this circle with us. As GodSong expands in vision and ministry, the circle of leadership expands, helping us build a solid Christ-like foundation so each one of us can be released into our Kingdom destinies. Pastors, elders and leadership teams are praying, working, and seeking God’s heart as we expand and establish the Kingdom of Heaven through creative expressions and activity. This isn’t just occurring locally, but regionally and globally as well. 2012 is a year for UPGRADE, a time to Dream Again! GodSong has never been in a batter position to understand and take hold of all the free revelation of the finished work of the cross. your leaders are brave men and women who truly believe that your freedom is more important than any ministry or structure. We are committed to preaching and teaching the truth about the greatness of ALL we have in Jesus.
Pastoral Accountability Team: This is a group of pastors from the community that have agreed to be Pastor Ron Thomason’s accountability partners. Together they have met once a week for the last five years to talk, share, laugh, cry , and pray for each other. They sincerely love GodSong and want to see us thrive and grow. They offer insights and counsel. They call it like they see it and those are the kind of people we all need in our lives. We are blessed to have such friends and GodSong is blessed to have this covering.

Community of Churches: These are our brothers and sisters in Christ. Our styles of worship may vary, and our times and places my be different but know this, “We may be many houses but we are one church!” We need the body of Christ. I currently serve as the President of the Ministerial Association for Newberg. I count every Christian church in this city a part of GodSong’s Circle of Leadership. As we build relationship and unity with this community of churches, we build and strengthen GodSong. Our vision becomes Kingdom-minded. I have a unique call to this city/region and its churches. I see a larger picture of what God is doing and I believe God has put me in this region for such a time as this to encourage and relate to many different fellowships in the body of Christ. GodSong; you are a bridge to this city as well. Your reputation precedes you as a house of honor and love. Well done. Let’s love even greater in 2012.
Elder Team: We are here for you GodSong. We all have a great hunger to see each of you walk in the revelation that you are perfectly crafted in Christ. You lack NOTHING. The cross is a finished work so you can live a powerful and exceedingly abundant life in Him. You may have noticed that this team is sharing more and more in the pastoral, preaching, teaching arena. This is so good GodSong. We desire to lead this fellowship as a team, a circle. You will see even more of us leading together in the year 2012 as we embark on a series in Ephesians. Most importantly; we are covenant friends.
- Their function is to pray for GodSong and each of you as the Spirit leads.
- Their function is to pray for, govern, and guide GodSong by discerning the will of God over the plans of men.
- They are Jesus’ hands and feet to His church with service, compassion and counsel.
- They help guide us in our giving to needs, ministry opportunities and pastoral care.

CPR Team: These amazing men and women freely give their gifts and time to see the vision of GodSong grow and mature. i want to take a moment to thank them for all their hard work in 2011. 2011 was a tough year financially for GodSong. Each team member was steadfast in their commitment and led with great faith and prayer. Thank you team, I am so grateful for each one of you. CPR oversees GodSong finances and budgets. Please keep them in your prayers as they move boldly forward in faith to position GodSong for growth and creative ways to fund Kingdom dreams.
- They serve the body as they confirm vision, set policies, and seek opportunities for GodSong to full its destiny.
- They are responsible to position GodSong and its many ministries so resources can be released into the Kingdom.
- They are responsible for approving and reviewing all financial records including budgets.
- The CPR Team and Elders share a mutual accountability founded in the love of Christ.
